 \n                                    -Ms. Lee\, a member of the University at BuffaloÂs Law SchoolÂs DeanÂs Advisory Council and an honoree of both the school and the UB Alumni Association\, was introduced as the executive director of the TransAfrica Forum by actor and board chair Danny Glover in 2006 at the age of 30. 
 \n                                     
 \n                                    -The Buffalo native became the first woman to head the nationÂs oldest African-American advocacy organization for justice in Africa and for people of African descent. 
 \n                                     
 \n                                    -The TransAfrica ForumÂs human rights and advocacy work extends worldwide where people of African descent have settled in large numbers\, including Europe\, the Caribbean and South America. 
 \n                                     
 \n                                    -Join us for appetizers\, beer\, wine and soda\, and meet Ms. Lee\, fellow alumni and their guests\, and hear about not only her organization but of the influence that UB had on her career. 
 \n                                     
 \n                                    -Ms. Lee\, in 2009\, received the UB Alumni Association Thorn Award honoring alumni under the age of 40 in recognition of their outstanding national or international contributions\, and by the Law School in 2008 with a Distinguished Alumni Award. 
 \n                                     
 \n                                     COST  for members of either alumni association\, who may bring a guest at the rate\, is $25. The non-member cost is $35. 
 \n                                     
 \n                                                                         DRESS CODE  Gentlemen are required to wear a sport coat and tie and ladiesÂ attire should be of a comparable degree of formality.
