The ABC Worldwide News Coverage of the Criminal Justice/Juvenile Justice Federal Grants Scandal at USDOJ/OJP/OJJDP is now on You Tube.
ABC Worldwide News Coverage of the OJJDP/USDOJ Grants Scandal.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHqRH4Cx8A8
More than 10 million viewers tuned in to watch iconic 9-time Emmy Award winning news journalist Brian Ross interview Scott Peterson as he exposed the cronyism, public deception, fraud, and abuse that took place at the U.S. Department of Justice by high ranking Presidential appointees who were misappropriating tens of millions of tax payer dollars at the federal grant making agency within the U.S. Department of Justice/Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Almost a dozen federal juvenile justice grant competitions in just that one year (2008) turned out to be anything but fair for the more than 500 plus local, state and national organizations that submitted applications for tens of millions of taxpayer dollars. The actions of several former and current federal career staff at the Justice Department/OJJDP led to both House and Senate investigations and hearings and an Office of the Inspector General Investigation. Much more needs to be done to improve the integrity and transparency of competitions for federal taxpayer funds to include lobbying for full disclosure on the scores and rankings of all applicants and other freedom of information disclosures that increase transparency in government.
